Bring your friendly pet on a leash, or in a cage, to the Atlanta Fall Festival Pet Parade! Costumes (for you and your pet) are encouraged but not required. The Pet Parade is an amateur show designed to give Olympia South Elementary district residents an opportunity to display and show their pets. This event is in no way meant to be a professional show.
The parade will start on September 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Pet Parade participants should gather at the east side of the stage (side closest to Vine Street) by 1:45 pm to check in. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. An award ceremony for the pet contests will be held immediately following the Pet Parade.
One class per pet.
Allowed animals:
Domestic dogs
Domestic cats
Domesticated rodents, rabbits and ferrets.
Captive-bred species of common cage birds, including chickens.
All pets must be the property of the person presenting them during the parade.
Pets must be removed from the grounds immediately following the show.
No reptiles may be exhibited.
The exhibitor must always have pet on a leash/in a cage and must never leave an animal unattended. No aggressive behavior will be permitted. You will be asked to leave the premises if any aggression or misbehavior occurs.
Blue (first place), red (second place), and white (third place) ribbons will be awarded in the following categories:
